Hatching season started out kind of slow this year I think due to the weather going back & forth warmer to colder & back. But now most of my breeds are laying well other than a few that have decided now it's time to go broody, ugh. That's OK if I want them to hatch chicks for me & I have one breed doing that but with others I just want to collect the eggs & incubate them. The little Japanese Ohiki hen started laying & I have now started hatching some of her eggs. They are the most adorable little birds ever! The BLRW & Isbars are also laying now but the eggs are still too small to incubate yet, hopefully soon.
